Activities

Morning Service: We meet together as a church every Sunday morning at 10.30am to worship God, to sing His praises, hear from His word and learn about what it means to follow Jesus. Half way through the service the children and youth break out into their own groups then rejoin everyone for tea, coffee, and refreshments at the end.

House Groups: These are opportunities to grow in our faith in smaller groups, which we think is important in being able to ask questions, discuss, and be encouraged in a relaxed, informal setting. These occur twice a month mid-week, in homes around the city, and in the church building. Groups of about 8 meet and go through study materials from the Bible. These are relaxed times, with tea and coffee, where the aim is to grow together, and encourage each other in our knowledge of the Bible, and what it means to live as Christians.

Superkids: Every Sunday, children aged 3 and upwards leave part way through the service to learn more about Christian faith in fun and engaging ways.

Switch: Every Sunday, secondary school age. Discussion using the Bible about life, and the impact of following Jesus.

MondayYoung At Heart: An informal social group for the over 50’s from 1.30-3.30pm.

Thursday – Community Drop In Cafe: Every Thursday morning, 10:30am-12noon – all welcome!

There are various other activities and events that appear on the church calendar from time to time.

There are various other activities and events that appear on the church calendar from time to time, reflecting the diverse life of the church and its commitment to serving both its members and the wider community. These may include seasonal services, social gatherings, teaching events, prayer meetings, family-focused activities, and occasional outreach initiatives. While not all of these take place on a regular basis, they are arranged in response to specific needs, opportunities, or times of the year, and are communicated in advance through the church calendar so that everyone has the opportunity to take part.
