Safeguarding Policy

Our commitment

Beacon Heath Church is committed to the safeguarding and wellbeing of children, young people and vulnerable adults. We believe everyone has the right to be treated with respect and to be kept safe from harm.

Our practice

We follow safer recruitment practices, provide appropriate training for those working with children and vulnerable adults, and take any concern seriously and act on it promptly.

We have comprehensive safeguarding policies that are reviewed annually and updated as needed. For copies of our safeguarding policies, please email our safeguarding email address below.

Raising a concern

Our Safeguarding Lead is Alexandra Berkeley and she is supported by Emma Slaven (Deputy Safeguarding Lead for children) and Brend Leaman (Deputy Safeguarding Lead for adults). If you have a safeguarding concern or query, please speak to one of the safeguarding leads or contact us at: bhcsafeguarding@gmail.com
